Talent Trees Question2010-03-17 00:00:00I have the attitude "If your raiding your MM" strictly because in my experience that works the best. I have had hunters in my guild try a SV build, others have gone BM, and they either didn't play it right or the builds they had sucked, as we are needing strict DPS from players and not the utility, we have plenty of that, therefore I require my Hunters to be MM. I will give them a chance at another build, but if it's not working to the groups needs, then they are required to respec. Granted I have had players in PUG's that have been other builds that worked good for them, my hunters apperently don't play them right, and marksman is a surefire way to get them to do what we need without trying to hard (basically making sure if they do decide to go AFK during the fight they are still doing the minimun damage needed).
BM is very good for leveling as I have 2 hunters that switched BM for leveling from ...
BM hunter with question on why more into MM talents?2010-03-02 00:00:00The reason people put 20 points into marksmanship instead of survival is because you can really add the DPS in MM (especially with Mortal Shots, which requires the last 5 points) whereas in SV you get ~ +3-6 damage to SOME targets, some of which can be made up for with gear (and hit is cheaper than crit ). In raid, your primary job is to deal damage. That's why you spend the points to get the (at 20 crit after LS) to get 11 increased damage on all targets, instead of 3 on all and an additional ~3.45 on some other targets.
As to CC, in a raid there are likely to be other classes with more renewable CC (i.e. if trap breaks you're screwed) which are specific to the raid. You have the luxury of bringing along 2 priests to kara, for example, while still leaving t...
0/31/302010-03-01 00:00:00your ranged DPS by another 3. If you went into full
Marks, you'd get a total of about 2400 AP and 31 crit instead of 1985 AP and 34 crit.
...But that's assuming that
Marks is worth a damn for raiding.

an unusual idea: stay 192010-02-08 00:00:00sloshot wrote:You pose an unusual idea: stay 19 for a while but not twink. I understand you are looking for BG experiee, but most folks get this as they level and don't dide to 'stay' at a x9 level to do it. This is bause at an x9 level, you set yourself up for being target that 'should' be powerful but as a non-twink, the twinks will own you from start to finish down there in those levels. Most folks see two logalhoes: bome a twink or move on. Youan always advae a twink later on if you get bored, thus supporting the 'bome a twink' option. "Move on" gives you levelling as well as BG play. ...
healing me My holy priest friend2010-02-05 00:00:00Another note on getting the PvP healing me... My holy priest friend found that he was quite squishy in BGs, and it takes 20 EOTS marks and 25.2K honor for that me. His solution was to run throughrowds doing scessive Holy Novas followed by running bk through therowd and using fear. Anything that his holy nova hit that subsequently died wasounted as an HK and really built up his honor qukly. The running throughrowds using multle Nova's followed by fear also made it easier for ranged dps to down people of the opposing ftion...

Acclaim CEO Howard Marks and Free-to-Play MMOs2009-09-10 00:00:00CEO Howard
Marks has set out to bring a traditionally Eastern vision of MMORPG business practices to the Western market. He's on the vanguard of a new trend in the genre, but one that eschews the traditional measures of success. People can't count box sales, Acclaim's games don't sit in Wal-Mart and there are no subscription numbers to speak of, the games are not only free to download, but free to play. Yet, despi...
